Cocktails and Converstations
Third Saturday of each month, beginning at 6pm.
 Hopefully you’ve had a chance to experience Estrella’s newest social event for adults; ages 21 and older. If not, it’s not too late. “Cocktails and Conversations” will be celebrated on the third Saturday of each month, beginning at 6 pm at our very our Starpointe Residents Club. Stop by the patio sitting area to enjoy signature drinks, wine, beer and light appetizers for just $10 per person. Most importantly, the conversation is FREE and it’s a great excuse to spend happy hour right here on the “hill.”
Mardi Gras - Yacht Club Social
Friday, February 12, Yacht Club, 7 to 9 pm
 February is the month of Mardi Gras celebrations around the world. Estrella will be celebrating in Mardi Gras style at February’s Yacht Club Social, held at the Yacht Club February 12 from 7 to 9 pm. We will have decorations, beads, a raffle, and food from Flavors of Louisiana, authentic southern Louisiana cooking! Bring your “fun” and any beverage you would like (coffee and hot chocolate will be provided). For just $2 per person, you will enjoy the flavors of Louisiana, to include chicken gumbo, fried chicken, fried catfish, and dirty rice. RSVP for this celebration at Starpointe today. Can’t wait to see “all y’all” there!
5th Annual Heart and Sole Run/Walk
Saturday, February 20 at 8am
 Saturday, February 20 at 8 am marks the date and time for Goodyear’s 5th annual Heart & Sole 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk at the Goodyear Ballpark. This event is hosted by West Valley Hospital and can be enjoyed by anyone, any age. Parents with strollers are welcome. Enjoy live music, interactive vendor booths and food booths. Everyone that participates will receive a T-shirt, ribbon, refreshments and entrance into a post-race raffle. This year’s Heart and Sole Run has a Mardi Gras theme, so participants are encouraged to dress in theme. Pre-registration is required. Please register online at www.goodyearaz.gov/rec. Early registration runs through February 6. The price is $20 for 5K, $15 for 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk. (After February 26, please register at the event with a slightly increased fee of $25 for 5K and $20 for 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk.) This event is free for spectators. Town Hall Meetings
Starting in March
Starting in March, Estrella will be holding a quarterly Town Hall Meeting. This is an informal resident meeting and everyone in the community is invited to attend. This will replace the regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting for March that is held on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Mark your calendar for March 23 at 6:30 pm.
